Happy Holidays

I think most everyone is in full-throttle holiday break mode at the moment...dealing with traveling, buying presents, etc. I was stranded in the Cleveland airport since my flight to Syracuse was canceled due to low visibility en route. I made it on a standby flight to Rochester later that evening though...even though the flight was overbooked somehow ten people who had canceled flights made it on that one. Spectacular really since there was no chance of getting another flight until the next evening! By the time I made it home I was quite glad to arrive. I am visiting with family for one week before returning to the crunch of grant writing and research.

So dear readers, I wish safe travels, rest, and stress-free days ahead for you. Like Clark W. Griswold, I hope all of your holiday wishes come true.
